Summary:
From Storm in Heaven:
Daisuke took a step. He was asked to join the Tokko (aka Kamikaze) and he accepted, offering his life to his country. Set during the very end of World War 2, this story begins when Daisuke decides to die and tells the reader why he decided to make such an extreme decision. Was it for his country, was it for peace, or was it because everyone else made the same choice? What's in a man's mind when he knows he's going to die? Even in this rather tragic scenario, there is still hope -- perhaps in a picture of your mother, or in a girl, or maybe in the future...

An excellent fantasy manga from CLAMP (the creators of xxxHolic, Chobits, Card Captor Sakura and other critically successful works). As expected, this one also brings some fantastic story to the readers, complete with amazing artwork (though it can be confusing sometimes because of the extreme amount of detail).
The characters are likable, the story starts off a bit of a light-hearted manner, but soon it brings a whole lot of plot twists (I mean PLOT TWISTS) and you could also be mindfucked around the last chapters.
It's a must read.

A very good manga. A very good story with a lot of interesting plot twists and ideas. The dialogue is pretty good, but could have been used so much better. It still effectively illustrates the ideas. I really liked the animation. My only problem is that the animation got kind of confusing at times. But that's just me. I was highly entertained by this manga and would highly suggest it to fantasy lovers.
