Summary:
Sakurai Tomoki is a normal student whose motto is "normal is the best". If there is one thing abnormal, it is that he often dreams of a girl whose face he cannot even remember, and when he wakes up from that dream, he would always be crying. He tried leaving it as just a dream... but one day, from the sky, an angel descended.

Sora no Otoshimono lives up to and far surpasses typical expectations and criterion for every genre it's listed as. The author is very generous with fan service, along with modern day humor. Storyline progression is perfectly paced, and the character development is superb. Behind all the humor and fan service, there's a lot of romantic moments and entertaining relationships between the characters that evolve throughout the series. I've read up to the most recently released chapter in the manga, and watched both seasons of the anime as well as the movie. I would have to recommend both, since (with the exception of some parts being mixed around) the anime goes hand in hand with the manga, they touch on all the important parts and include a hell of a lot of gut-bustingly hilarious scenes. The movie explicates a kind of a side story in the manga, filling in half of the 1:30:00 it lasts with content from previous episodes to show the viewer where a certain character fits into the story up to then.
Without a doubt, this is my favorite ongoing series. I'm (of course) looking forward to more chapters being released (there should be one any day now; another release is overdue,) and can't wait for season 3 of the anime to begin. 6/5!!!
