This is an excellent manga, to put it simply. If you love samurai manga, you'll love this. The art is fresh and interesting, the story is original and uncompromising and the characters are unique and engaging.

The pair of protagonists, one level-headed and powerfully driven, the other explosive and nigh-feral, are well-written and the plot holds plenty of surprises. You can never truly be sure who will win a fight until the very last second, and practically no character truly feels safe from death.

It's a particularly engaging seinen manga and a huge shame that it gets neither the regular updates nor the attention it deserves.
