Summary:
In the late 1990s, society is descending into ecological collapse and totalitarianism. Saiga Riki-Oh, 21, finds himself in jail.

Saiga Riki-Oh--serving a term of three years, due to assault, his first offense. Riki-Oh openly antagonizes The Four Emperors, four powerful prisoners that control the prison and keep the rest of the inmates in line.

There's a oneshot at the end of volume 11 & 12, Kirinji and NY Dust respectively. The NY Dust oneshot is the pilot for the series The Hard.

The artwork is about the only thing lacking, but being from the 80s it is understandable and you get used to it quickly. I originally skipped over this because of the 1 star rating, but when it was compared to Fist of the Blue Sky...and realized both were reviewed by the same person...I decided to give it a chance.

Sadly, the reviewer is more mistaken than they will ever know. There is blood, gore, and a deep story surrounding the main character. Guts get ripped out, heads smashed, and blood shed all over the place as Riki searches for his younger (read more)

and emotionally turns half of them to his side then kills them anyway. the gore was funny, like he would punch a guy and he would jsut explode. guts flying everywhere, very gritty. the story on the other hand. uh. no just, it doesnt exist, if it werent for the gore i would think its an extremely bad gay porno. the most emotionally moving part is where riki-oh, a completely grotesquely buff main character, fails to lift a small child out of a closing chasm. he only had the poor thing's arm. seriously, who that large, exhausted or not, fails to lift (read more)
