The origin of Fairy tail and probably one of the best mangas iv ever read. dont even bother with the anime, its poorly done, incomplete and doesnt hold a candle to the manga. I loved every moment. all the jokes, strange creatures, action, romance... i know you will too

This is a great manga with a lot of emotion. It's from the same author that created Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima. In fact, this is his first manga. Just like Fairy Tail, it has massive amounts of comedy and action, as well as some drama. You're likely to find emotion in it, if you're the type of person who gets attached to characters easily. All the characters are well developed. And you get to see a lot more Plue in this manga then you do in Fairy Tail. Hiro Mashima is very good with detail and this story is all around great. Though, there are many (read more)

Explosion! Fairy Tail owes a lot to Rave Master, as it lets Hiro Mashima flesh out a lot of things in his more popular manga. Many of the themes in this manga are repeated many times, such as "No one will die" and "My best friend is a villain", but I still enjoyed how each arc unfolded. Any fan of Fairy Tail should definately check this one out. Its hard for a writer to struck gold once with a manga, but Hiro did it twice, and should be appreciated for it.

P.S. Many of Fairy Tail's aesthetics are come from Rave Master, from Plue to Knightwalker's (read more)
