Recently i have been reading this wonderful series, it has a deep story, grand arcs that traverse years and continuity. Each character you meet is named after one of the many pokémon games that have been released for hand held, and each new story arc even if it uses old characters brings something different every time like. They have villains that are interesting and each character brings something new to the table and a plot which at some points you think you can guess whats about to happen but then it takes a slightly different approach. Rather than having a story based on one character, it delves deeper into the games' background to give us a deep and complex character base, realistic storylines and above all, loveable characters. Situated in a scene where the trainers're highly likely to be as well-rounded in fighting as their pokemon, this is probably the most accurate and best manga adaptation of Pokemon as we all know it, in its best nostalgia. Got to say, if you liked poke'mon back then you'll like this. It is more like "real" life style. How Team Rocket will kill people. The bad guys will have pokemon attack the trainer. Even pokemon capturing is realistic, having a certain weak spot you aim for.

It is a great manga, sadly there are some bad scans, but other than that its fun to read and entertaining.
