There's a reason Naoki Urasawa has been named a National Living Treasure in Japan - and Monster is a strong proof of this manga-ka's ability.

Monster weaves an intricate web of morality, romance, intrigue, betrayal, conspiracy, and madness, as fates are crossed, lives are shattered and rebuilt, and old demons walk forth into a new age. This is a work of suspense par excellence - Hitchcock, King, and Clancy come to mind by way of comparison. The characters are deep, their circumstances gripping. This manga will have you turning page after page (read more)
