What a heroine manga should be

I've read many mangas with the heroine as the star, but none of them are like this. It forgoes the usual love interest and fan service for an all-female cast of bad-asses. Sure, they all look the same, but each have very unique personalities and I am just impressed at how many different kinds of characters there are. Clare and her companions are amazing in both the way they fight and their feelings about being half monsters. The only letdown is Raki, the male protagonist, but luckily he gets a do-over a third of the way through. The story is also amazing as many of its red-herrings actually surprised me. This is a manga no action fan should pass up.
